The scope
Composite repair of a 48-inch offshore pipeline, awarded to PEC by tender and carried out for Qatar Petroleum's Marine department alongside its EPRS Club team.
QP Marine thanked the PEC and 3X Engineering teams for completing the job safely and to QP's requirements during COVID-19.
How PEC delivered
- Composite repair system from 3X Engineering, installed by the PEC project team with 3X Engineering.
- All repair works completed in early April 2020, during the COVID-19 restrictions, to QP's requirements.
- Samples taken at every step, from priming to wrap installation, kept for testing; daily progress reports issued to QP.
- Lessons learnt and project close-out prepared for QP's review.
